John Anderson is originally from South Australia. He graduated with a Master of Science with Distinction (Structural Engineering) & Diploma of Imperial College, Imperial College London, a Master of Business Administration (Technology Management), Deakin University and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons), University of Adelaide.John has 30 years’ experience working as a Professional Engineer on projects throughout SE Asia and Australia. Home has been Bangkok for the last 25 years.John is a Director with Meinhardt in Thailand and addition is also the Managing Director of Meinhardt’s Myanmar operation.Outside of Professional Engineering, John has played an active role in the Australian business community. He is a past President of the Australian Thai Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) and is a Director of AustCham Myanmar.He is currently a Board member at Bangkok Patana School.www.meinhardt.net
What do you want to get out of the Club?
I am interested to help support individuals and businesses from South Australia wanting to invest in SE Asia - in particular Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia.
What can you contribute?
Having lived in SE Asia for the past 25 years I have a familiarity with doing business in this part of the world.
