As the CEO of Kirrihill Wines and Managing Director of WineSense Advisory, I have a clear focus on growing our business internationally, with a particular focus on China and the broader Asia region. Kirrihill Wines is a winery in the Clare Valley. We have a focus on selling branded wine domestically and internationally. We also supply other wine companies with premium and icon level bulk wine to support their branded products. WineSense Advisory is a management consulting business that has a clear focus on supporting wine industry businesses across all facets of the value chain. We also have a focus on product development outside of the wine sector to access further market opportunities in China and Asia. I am business professional with over 20 years of general management and executive director experience, both nationally and internationally. Proven ability to develop and execute strategy to achieve business objectives.

What do you want to get out of the Club?

I would like to play an active role in promoting our State into China and Asia. A key element of being a member of the Club is to network and make new contacts.

What can you contribute?

Diverse career in the private sector with a broad perspective of business operations. Strong skills in the areas of strategic planning, operations management, governance, asset/capital management, financial management, marketing, supply chain management, project management, procurement/commercial negotiation, brand marketing, sustainability & risk management, innovation/R&D management, lean production and productivity. I have a comprehensive understanding of the mechanics of business and industry. During my career I have taken an active role in industry groups, being both President & Board Member of the South Australian Wine Industry Association and Presiding Officer & Board Member of Vinehealth Australia. Both roles enabled me to work closely with the CEO, in addition to building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and the relevant State Government Ministers and Departments.
